Our favorite record from 2012 was with out a doubt FAVRTSM's "Tape I". The album was just such an emotionally vibing piano record that was filtered through this grimy, distorted and lo-fi lense. When we heard he was going to releasing a side project album, I definitely got excited. And, I had good reason to be. The debut album of Blue Meanie (aka Rafael Grafals) was an excellent album of hazy lo-fi drones with distorted synths, field recordings, and some guitar and piano. While the album originally came out in May, we're gonna be releasing it on Cd-R pretty soon. We're excited, as you should be.
